I first came across the web site in March 2008 and made contact with Anthony by telephone. I asked if he could style 3 wigs for me. I started drag in the 1960,s where the only place to get good drag wigs was in London. Since my contact in London moved away I was at a loss as to where to have my wigs styled, Anthony was very helpful and I posted my 3 wigs to him with some photos and my requirements. In June 2008 I collected my wigs and they were fabulous. His courtesy and attention to detail are superb. I have recently had 6 wigs done for a Cabaret Show and again all the wigs are wonderful. They have been much admired by all those who have seen the Show. I shall continue to use Anthony’s excellent service and I currently have an up do on order for June. If you want a top class wigs for drag there is no better place.

Having toyed with the idea for a few years I finally decided to set up a Neil Diamond Tribute act. Putting the obvious initial expense to one side I was quite shocked by how difficult and time consuming it was to get everything exactly as I envisaged. Sound systems, lighting rigs, costumes etc. Then finally it dawned on me that unlike me Neil Diamond has a reasonably good head of hair, or he did in the era I wish to portray. And so my search for a suitable wig began. Almost immediately I found A K Wig Designs via a search engine and phoned Anthony and within minutes we were chatting away like old friends. Unfortunately and mainly down to my poor description of what i wanted Anthony felt he was unable to help, however I had already made up my mind that no one else would do. So it was back on the phone and I managed to describe my vision a little better and convince him that he should take on the project. Not long after i received an email with a picture attached and when i opened it it was like closing my eyes and seeing my vision right in front of me. I still cannot believe that he managed to achieve such a perfect fitting hair piece without us ever actually meeting as all measurements and descriptions were done by phone and email.

10 out of 10, should the need arise in the future I will certainly not hesitate to recommend him or indeed use his services again.
